You may want to look at Induro or Benro (they are the same, Induro relabeled costs a lot more though); they have a rep for being 90% of a Gitzo tripod / Arca head at 25-50% of the price Good luck Ecke BTW another option would be to get a refconverter and a tripod that is just the right height so you could bend down comfortably; you could save some weight, collapsed size and perhaps even moolah =)
