Does anyone know about the Flashpoint tripods from Adorama? I'm considering one.

I have a Slik pro 804 carbon fiber tripod with a Bogen 8047 three-way head. The Bogen head is fairly stout, probably weighs around three pounds, but it's very solid and has bubble levels. The Slik tripods aren't the equal of Gitzos, but they're very light, sturdy and the legs lock well. The center column leaves much to be desired, but I rarely raise it. The Bogen head can sometimes be found on ebay. I found one today that's at $90 with a little more than an hour to go:

The legs you're looking at have 4 sections, and this can be a bit of a pain
to put up and down. It also tends to mean that one of the sections my be a
bit thin and weak. I prefer to have 3 sections because it's easier to
