Well ... how many high quality lenses are out there? When I ordered my ZX-5n and FA 35/2 about a year and a half ago, I couldn't imagine I would want more than a decent 35mm and a macro lens of some sort. However, since then, I've acquired both of those and a few more--and the whole experience has been pretty enjoyable. I'm not interested in duplicating what I already have, but having new things to figure out is always fun.
And, as long as it's all still fun and affordable (i.e., it isn't robbing resources or attention from more important things), I don't see any compelling reason to not find out what's over that next hill.
