You are, of course, correct. That's why in an earlier post I wondered
if something about Bob put the jury off. I'm not saying he's an
off-putting guy, I'm reacting to what I've seen in print (on-line,
that is).
In my previous career I saw folks that I was sure were innocent get
convicted and I saw others I knew were guilty be found "not guilty".
Those things didn't happen often, but they did happen.
Despite what some think the justice system works pretty damned well
most of the time. We hear about the "travesties of justice" all the
time because they make sensational news, but day in day out the guilty
usually get convicted and the innocent usually go free.
If Bob really is innocent I hope he gets his freedom back.
Absolutely - same here.
I wonder if he was out lawyered?
