You are, of course, correct. That's why in an earlier post I wondered
if something about Bob put the jury off. I'm not saying he's an
off-putting guy, I'm reacting to what I've seen in print (on-line,
that is).
Yes, I've experienced that myself, reading any number of Bob's articles and
such. I believe that IS what happened.
As simple as not portraying yourself as a caring individual. Having exhibited
honest remorse might well have exonerated him, but...
I gather from how I read his 'normal' demeanor, he's not that sort of person.
I have no reason to believe he didn't tell the whole truth, as he perceived
it, but...he should have shown more humanity and such, and didn't.
