Fascinating. Fortunately, there was no general anesthesia for Lisa: Block anesthetic plus a sedative did the trick. She's back home and doing splendidly with 8 screws and a plate in her arm. Airport metal detectors with her are really gonna be fun... She's really delighted with the post-op x-rays.
