My ear consultant offered me another operation last time I saw him. I was feeling so fed up after the relatively recent wrist operation that I practically snapped his head off. However, what he's offering would allow me to swim again and would prevent further infections, so I might take him up on his offer. Trouble is, every time I go under I think I'll never come back again.
