See if you can 'save as' a Windows Media file (.wmv) and chances are
that will run natively on your machine.

Adjusting things like brightness/contrast and color correction etc may
be beyond the scope of your video editing software.

Also - think about how you would like to keep the finished item - on
computer or DVD? If on computer and you sent the file to me, I would
make a Quicktime master and produce a smaller-res WMV for your viewing
needs. The master would be useful for any future conversions required
(say) to different formats and/or hardware.
