Hi Ann, Sorry, I assume you've managed to drop the video into the "story board" edit section underneath the collections? Once the movie is in the edit window you can right click your mouse and apply any number of video effects including brightening or darkening. Once you have got the results you want in the preview window you can go up to the file menu the select save movie and a wizard will guide you through. The movie will be saved as a WMV which most video players can play. If you need it in AVI format it's easy enough to convert using freeware tools, but I won;t go into that at this point.
