Certainly the ability to examine images under a microscope has had a big part in much of the concern about the K-x and many other cameras of late. As I go back scanning images shot with my many film cameras, I see all kinds of things, that I wouldn't have noticed just from examining proof prints.
I have noticed on occasion that my K20 will shoot a frame that is a little bit blurred. It happens too infrequently, to have nailed down the reason. My hunch is that it has to do with SR, but I am not overly fretting about it. As I compare my K-x to my K20, the shutter sounds are slightly different, but the decibel level seems about the same. I have seen a few sample images showing the issue of discussion, but have never seen this issue in my K-x. Like I said, I have seen more problems so far from my K20 than my K-x. But those problems happen so infrequently that it could very well be a problem on my part. Anyway, after 5000+ frames on the K-x, I am one of those who is not having any issues with the camera. -- Best regards, Bruce Wednesday, March 24, 2010, 10:37:27 AM, you wrote: PJA> By all accounts the K-x, (and I have no direct experience here), has a PJA> rather loud shutter, at least compared to the K20D and especially the PJA> new K-7.
