<<Export estimates for 2002 by JCIA show 5.8% drop in photo camera but 30% growth in digital cameras
Japan Camera Industry Association (JCIA) disclosed shipment estimates for 2002 which show another decrease in photo cameras and another increase in digital cameras. In exports, photo camera will show a 5.8% decrease on the total volume of 23.2 million units. While digital camera will register a 30% increase to total 12.9 million units.
