Assuming similar physical pixel sizes (which I think is pretty close
between the A900 and K-7), you could crop the A900 image and get the
same result.  (That is, after all, why it's called a "crop factor.")

Thus the advantage of small formats with long lenses is mostly
psychological, whereas the benefit of larger formats with wide-angle
lenses is real.
