If the current DA lenses would cover a 1.3 crop sensor and a 21mp sensor of
that size was available, that might make a nice little package.

If they're going to 21mp I'd hope they'd go for a larger sensor.
I'd hope for 21MP, but certainly they could not/would not go backwards
in raw sensor resolution.
To be fair, the K-x outperforms the K7 in only one parameter.
Dropping the K-x sensor into a K7 body and calling it a new camera
isn't
viable since it would be going backwards in megapixels.
I like Adam's idea of a 14mp Sony sensor, but I'd really like to see
something closer to 18mp.
