Tom, I asked the same questions as you, with basically the same answers. I thought I had comfortably settled on a 67II and went back in the shop to try them again. But after handling them, that 645n sure handles like a 35mm, it makes you wonder to some degree. Handheld and verticals are easier and quicker to deal with. Not to mention carrying around a kit. That is what got me thinking again, along with seeing the images on the wall. They weren't just meant to show the difference, they were very nice shots - scenics. I also talked with the owner who uses both (handy to be a shop owner!) and he says that for field work, the 67II is much heavier (kit) and he doesn't find the image that much weaker.
