Hi Jostein, did you try adding a thick ND filter to the flash? I
guess the 400T is better at quenching the flash more quickly than the
500FTZ, which is what counts at macro distances. Have a look at the
Metz ND filters, perhaps they could be adapted to the Pentax flashes
(they are made of plastic, so last a long while unlike gel filters).
