After testing my lens on my friend's K7, it's confirmed: the lens is the
weak link. The SDM contacts are perfectly clean, so I don't know what the
problem could be aside from ineffective repairs performed by CRIS down in
Arizona last winter. They damn well better cover this under warranty... >:(
