Point taken.

With me they're only booking a service. When 'under contract' the
copyright of anything I produce becomes the client's upon completion of
payment. It's a one-time fee, as in your 2nd para above. The third para
doesn't apply to anything I've ever done professionally, although I am
told by a graphic designer friend that stock video is becoming big
business and she's keen to start up a business doing just that. Trouble
is, I'm a shit businessman! I just like doing the fun stuff ;-)
