I wondered if you meant that... less seismically active would mean leaving the country entirely which is something we wouldn't be terribly keen on doing. Anyway, by the time I eliminate countries with seismic activity, poor climate, poor politics, or dangerous critters there wouldn't be much left! We've been through the worst of it and a few small aftershocks aren't likely to cause too much concern other than a little lost sleep. Maybe we'll get another big one during my lifetime but now I have far more confidence in our ability to withstand it.
