that's correct, I bought it off ebay from china vendor for $20. Pentax doesn't make one because it (RF) slightly throws off the stop down metering at small apertures. It's a trade off I don't care about.

Is that from Pentax -- do they make such a thing? -- or KatzEye? After writing the above I Googled "Pentax split image RF screen" and came up with a thread, here or somewhere, in which you shared your experience. One respondent on the thread mentioned purchasing an Asian manufactured screen for $20. However, nothing like that showed up in the Google search. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------- Eric Weir Decatur, GA USA [email protected] -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions. -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
