You can do it anytime by going to "migration assistant" in the utilities folder 
on your new iMac. You don't have to have the computers connected at startup. 
You can connect them after launching the assistant. When starting the iMac for 
the first time, it will ask if you want to do the migration, so it's convenient 
to do it then, but not necessary. I'm not sure if the first PSCS works on 
Intel-based Macs. Google it and see what you can find. I think I switched to 
CS4 at the time I bought my iMAc.
