I don't get 10,000x8000 pixels of resolution from my equipment right
now. My scanner gives me an image of some 5000-odd on the long side,
and I can already tell the grain pretty well with Tri-X on D76.

Besides the higher resolution, my hypothetical digital camera would
let me change the ISO on a per-frame basis, so I'll be able to shot at
the lowest possible speed, thus minimizing grain. Heck, maybe digicams
should have a "Shutter *and* aperture priority" mode, where you set
those two and the ISO changes to achieve the right exposure.

Maybe I should patent that last one.
