If I've learned anything in half a century of photography is that any reason 
one can come up with to buy a new camera is a valid reason. Go for it! The 
50-135/2.8 is undoubtedly an excellent lens for what you're doing, and with the 
K-5 you'll be able to shoot at 6400 and get better results than the K-7 gets at 
3200.
