I agree John. OTOH, I was going to point out that there were no
limited zooms. I've decided I want a DA limited 35-135, compact and
light. I'm willing to settle for f4. I also want it to fit on my K7
and the new four thirds EVIL camera from Pentax. And I want the lens
(and the EVIL camera) in a camouflage color scheme. But not the K7
because that would be silly. ;-)

F/4 would be fine as long as it's constant aperture. I chose f/2.8 because that's what my workhorse 28-70 is, so I know it can be done.

I chose the 24-105 range because one of my instructors has one, although he shoots another brand I won't mention, but the name starts with C. It looks like it would be a versatile range for photographing weddings, thinking in terms of minimizing lens changes.

"FF" & aperture ring are so I can use it with my K1000 & LX when I'm feeling nostalgic. I wonder if they could do an EVIL camera with a 24x36 sensor?

Which camouflage? Woodland, 6 color desert, 3 color desert, urban or one of the newer digital patterns ... and if so, US Army, USMC or USAF? That's not even considering the patterns adopted by our allies. I guess they could do it the way they did the color schemes for the K-x & K-r, where you go to a web site and choose your pattern, then submit your order.

That ought to work.
