I basically agree, Paul, but I'll play devil's advocate. Pentax has said they want to build something "different" with respect to and EVIL system. Another baby Leica/Pen/dove bar is not different. If they can get all the electronics into a 110 like body with a 4/3 sensor and some lenses and an adaptor for the K mounts it might have better market possibilities even if it's not as good a camera. Pentax often pays more attention to the Japanese market that the western ones, and they really light nifty tech.
As for the adaptor, I'm not sure the screwdrive would work. Maybe SDM.
