Hi All,

I have a few practical questions about a Manfrotto video tripod
(3182 tripod + 3433 head, aka Video 501).

3433 Head:
1. Would I have any problems mounting a photo camera (K-7 in particular)
to its QR plate?

2. Are there any other QR plates that would work fine with this head
(without any modifications), and that cost less then $20 (that's
what a new one costs at B&H or Adorama).

3. What is the purpopse of two threaded holes (of different size)
in the head just below the QR plate?

3182 legs:

4. What is the purpose of a bronze-looking stud with a hole
at the bottom of each leg?
(My guess is it is for mounting a dolly or some ground-level spreader,
or whatever those rubber strips are called. Right?)

5. What is the purpose of the threaded hole in the mount of one of the legs
(at the top of the tripod)

Thank you,

Igor
