On 28/2/11, Igor Roshchin, discombobulated, unleashed:

>I have a few practical questions about a Manfrotto video tripod
>(3182 tripod + 3433 head, aka Video 501).

If you could provide some links to pics on the interwebthingy that would
be great.

Nah.

>what a new one costs at B&H or Adorama).

Unknown captain.

Pic please. Most video quick release plates have various sizes of
mounting studs for the various sizes of mounting holes found on the
various cameras. Just ignore any holes you don't like the look of.

Need a pic please - unsure of the description. Most video tripod legs
have some sort of arrangement for using a rubber-type feet system with
an alternative for removing the feet and using a sharp prong that will
seat nicely in a soft surface like grass. Also, tripods that use ground
level spreaders will have an arrangement for this.

>(My guess is it is for mounting a dolly or some ground-level spreader,
>or whatever those rubber strips are called. Right?)

Spreaders. Can be either ground level or mid-level (like mine)

Disadvantage of ground level spreaders is they get caked in shit.

Need a pic please.
