I don't mind a bit of noise for some shots either. But the original poster was 
asking about noise levels comparable to shooting in native mode of ISO 100 or 
200. For some of the work I do, such as shooting cars for magazine publication, 
even a small amount of noticeable noise is unacceptable. With the k-7 and K20, 
that meant never going beyond ISO 200. With the K05, ISO 400 is completely 
acceptable and 640 might be as well.
