In 3 weeks I'm going to be doing the still work @ a conference. Normally this means being a distance away from the stage.
A) My first thought is to use the A70-210, set the ISO to 400 or 800, and use the on-camera flash. (Body is the K-x.) B) Of course softer light would be preferable. I have a classic Sunpak 611 available. With a GN of 160 and setting the ISO @ 400, even with a tissue over the head for some diffusion I can get plenty of DOF. C) Then again, a *dedicated* flash with a bounce panel might be best, but that would shorten my shooting distance. I really don't want to crank the ISO past 800, just to maintain image quality. What flash, Pentax brand or other, would you suggest? A? B? C? Other? Additional thoughts?
