Don't kid yourself. I recall the four-color glossy ads that heralded the first CV bodies. Much ado was made to remind older readers--and educate younger ones--about the Voigtlander heritage.
When launching its revival of the original Macintosh, Apple Computer paid $10 million for the right to use the name Classic. Graywolf wrote: I don't know if the Voigtlander name has helped much.
