Having both the MZ-5n and the MZ-S (lucky me), I feel I can say a little about their
respective interfaces. The 5n is very nice to use, but the S is even easier, with the
added flexibility of being able to manually select half-stop speeds (1/180, 1/350,
etc.) all the way to 30 seconds (10 seconds, 20 seconds, etc.). The 5n doesn't allow
you to manually select any speed longer than 2 seconds, which is an inconvenience at
times.

In addition, having six AF sensors rather than three, and the ability to select them
individually, is also a big help.

An MZ-5n with MZ-S interface would make more sense, for those who don't want to spend
the money for an actual MZ-S. I must admit, though, I like the exclusivity of having
the real thing.
