Another vote here for the 50-135. No, I haven't measured, that wind blowing flapping your undies is my arms waving.
Often perceived sharpness is a function of DoF. The 21mm Limited isn't all that sharp, but when you're taking pictures of mountains and skyscrapers and so on...
