Hmmm... That's interesting, Ryan. If it's a ~new~ telescope, it would either be literally quite new, or it would certainly have seen very little sunlight inside of its packaging. So, although I don't know exactly how long it's been since your scope was manufactured, I will venture to say that its green coloring might not be due to aging. (?)
