I can always find something to focus on. I only rarely shoot featureless white walls ... and why does focusing matter in those situations anyway? ;-) > This is on my mind because shooting indoors at my daughter's > graduation this past Friday I experienced the frustration of the image > going way out of focus right when I wanted to take the shot. This is why I generally prefer manual focus and use most AF systems as a "one time get close, then tweak with manual focus for critical accuracy, and stay there" I want the camera to do what *I* tell it, I don't what it to tell me what it wants to do. Manual focus always does exactly what I tell it to ... I might be wrong, but then I don't blame the camera. -- Godfrey godfreydigiorgi.posterous.com -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
