I saw an article about a camera experiment which gutted the control logic out of a Canon 1D and fitted an interface for an Apple iPhone. Several apps were written that controlled and expanded on the functions of the Canon 1D, and a mount was built into the back of the camera to hold the iPhone. It looked pretty slick and useful for some uses. I don't think either iOS or Android really makes for the best in-camera RTOS, but as a user configurable control interface, there are a lot of possibilities there. -- Godfrey godfreydigiorgi.posterous.com -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
