I appreciate the discussion as this was what I hoped for.  I'm
personally not all that savvy about the "deep details" about how OSs
work to think of the many problems or advantages.  I was also thinking
about reverse convergence, if you will.  I've read much about cell
phones really cutting into the P&S market and was thinking about how
hard it would be to put a cell phone in s DSLR.  I know it might sound
silly but if my EVIL/MILC/CSC/Photopunk E-P1 had cell phone
capabilities I might very well carry it rather than my cell phone.
After all, the new ones have touch screens, microphones, etc. Can apps
be far behind?
