Marnie: Thanks, Jack. :-) Yeah, the lights are bit blurry, but I liked it anyway. So, glad you did too. ------------------------------------------------------------------

I haven't B&Wed any yet and had thought about it. Make it a "photographic." :-) I tried to find it, and couldn't. We sort of got lost on the island a bit, and were running out of time. Wanted to get to the Avenue of the Palms in time to set up for night photography of SF. I'd appreciate any information you could give me about it. :-) I'd like to find it next time. (I've seen it from a distance when not there on the island and since I couldn't find it, I wondered if I got it wrong to begin with.) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Nice shot. The noise isn't too bad. What I often do when I run up against a technical limitation is that in post processing I take the "flaw", amp it up, and try to turn it from a bug into a feature. For example: http://www.flickr.com/photos/ellarsee/6076201810/in/set-72157627507139704 Maybe you can do something to play with the noise in your other shots. Turn them to black and white so the noise looks like grainy film that's been pushed hard or something? > > But the view was fantastic. Even with fog. Did you get to see Bliss Dance? I've been wanting to get to TI to check it out. They probably have it lit up at night also, which could be nice with city lights in the background. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Marnie: Thanks, frank. :-) Lovely photo, Marnie. cheers, frank -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Marnie: Thanks, ann. :-) Definitely next time double check for my quick release plate (tripod was with, plate not). See below for other comments. Nice even with the problems you mention... so - go back with a T-pod :-) > > Marnie the akaless > > (I will explain this once, then refer to it about two more times. Glad you enjoyed reading it. It was par for the course that when the Net first took off that guys hit on gals in chat rooms wanting to meet "in person." The Net is much more savy now about stuff like that now (in how people connect up), and also now some relationships are strictly Net relationships. Then it wasn't considered a real relationship if it was all online. Things, boy, have they changed. So, glad you enjoyed reading it. But, see? I've just reposted it, heh, so hopefully, I won't have to do it again.
