The fast 30 is a worthy goal, but they  have a 14/2.8. Can't much faster than 
that without getting really big and expensive.

Probably not enough buyers, considering the price that that a lens that long 
and fast would require-- probably 2K. I think it would require a front element 
of at least 90 mm. And with the high ISO performance of the K5, that kind of 
speed isn't necessary, IMO.
