Thanks Steve, and all others who commented.

That's probably what I'll do. For years, I scanned medium format on an Epson 
3200 flatbed, and the results were good enough for magazine publication (which 
doesn't require that much in the way of definition), and they made nice prints 
up to 11 x 14. I figure the 600 or 700 will be that much better.
