Or the PK-A 50/1.2, or the DA 50/1.4. Again, I am pushing the longer 
alternatives, 43mm, 50mm, because I don't see that big a difference between 
your 12-24mm and a 30mm or 31mm.
OBTW, you didn't specify a prime lens. How about something like an older 
28-70mm lens?
