Frank, a suggestion for this until you want to spend money.
You can create a simple one-theme portfolio for free at 500px.com. You
just open a free account there, upload your shots and direct them to the
portfolio. They will appear like this one (mine):

(I just set this up as an experiment to see how it looks.) You get to
choose from several themes and layouts, add a bio and contact information.
It could tide you over for now.
