As I believe I had mentioned before, that is what we did to surplus Nikon 
lenses in the Navy, only we used a screwdriver and a hammer on the loading dock 
of the photo-lab. Cameras too. 16mm to 4x5s.

That's paranoia.

The gov't has since slackened it rules, it seems. Hence Wikileaks.
