versions of VIvitar S1 70-210mm lenses, that I think is available in the
archives. Both are well worth having. The third version since it was never
released in an A version is often available for less than $50.00 and gives very
nice images even on 14mp sensor cameras.It doesn't see a lot of use since I
have the Second version and a F 70-210 f4.0~5.6 both of which are much more
convenient to use.

i have the 2nd version too; i don't mind manual focus but it is heavy and i
seem to get lots of chromatic aberration; like you, i use my F 70-210 more, but
i use my DA 50-200 most; long lenses are not my strong point
