i have the 2nd version too; i don't mind manual focus but it is heavy and i seem to get lots of chromatic aberration; like you, i use my F 70-210 more, but i use my DA 50-200 most; long lenses are not my strong point


I managed to reference the second version and the third version in my comments above note the strikeout and italics above.
