Yes, I misloaded my MX just once, my 21st birthday :-( Since then I always watch the rewind crank and wind till I'm on frame 2, just to be sure. On my MZ5n I've had a few misloads, but it is obvious straight away so I've never lost any shots. As far as I can tell, if it isn't loaded properly, i.e. can't advance the film, it won't shoot.
