I snipped the rest because I got a complaint that my one line reply was too long. In short, my feeling is that 99% of the benefit will be obtained by doing any sort of reasonably competent calibration. That the delta beyond that to the best device used weekly wouldn't even be noticeable in the vast majority of cases. Therefore you want to find the system that is the most portable, easiest to use, and easiest to afford. As to calibrating a projector, I wonder if you could do something like get a chunk of plexiglass, frost it, and put something like a spyder on the back side while projecting onto the front. I tried using a spyder with linux, but four years ago, the software support just wasn't there. -- Larry Colen [email protected] sent from i4est -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
