On the basis that the quickest way to get an answer to a question on the 
internet is to post the wrong answer, my guess is that you could do it with 
something along the lines of the line below where

image_viewing_program is the name of the program you use to look at jpegs
and 
target_dir is the directory that you copy the jpegs into.

image_viewing_program `tail -f target_dir`
