I would happily sign on as a spokesperson in order to make inroads with the balding, paunchy, middle-aged male demographic in search of a camera that promises great performance but doesn't look like the kind of camera anyone would want to break into your home to steal after having seen you out shooting with it.

Personally, I think I'd love it in the same way that I love most things that are hated by people who have better taste than I do.

Fascinating -- that test drive event Ned linked to? Held not at a

plays out... will the hipsters& design mavens take the bait? Who
needs Ashton Kutcher, anyway?

I'm enjoying watching how things develop for the K-01... It's not the
camera for me, but I'm rooting for it nonetheless.

Apologies if this was already posted, but I didn't see it mentioned.

Our long-lost president, Ned Bunnell, has resurfaced. He is well,
healthy, and turns out he'd been hiding out in his California home
taking photos of his dog using the K-01 + 31 Ltd. I could think of
many worse fates that could have befallen him (though none that
include a camera). I like the way the focus peaking is implemented in
the K-01. Maybe Godfrey can tell us if it works well in real life as I
believe it's the same method used in the Ricoh GXR.

There are a few more posts about the K-01, but these seemed like the
most interesting.
