What Tom says about NG processing their own stuff, or at least having a custom
lab do it, may well be true. Way back in the 60's an NG photographer and I
were shooting the same stuff, and I ran out of film and didn't have any more
quickly to hand. So Walt (Edwards), threw me one of his rolls, and had it
processed for me at NG. When I got it back, it was markedly sharper and a
little more contrasty than the exact same film (Kodachrome 64) processed in
Johannesburg by the normal consumer Kodak lab.
