The model you like was the hardest for me to get the look I liked and I
finally got her in an off moment.
Yes the harsh light was part of this exercise which was fine with me as
I don't shoot in a studio and a lot of my impromptu on the street
portraits are in the sun. I do have some more to post that were taken in
shade and indoors.
The indoor ones were taken in various types of light to work on our
perception of white balance.

fave shot is the 1st in the 2nd row: turquoise necklace and earrings. It
looks like the sun must have gone past the corner of the wall by then so
you had open shade. I'm surprised the "director" didn't get somebody to
hold a reflector to open up the shadows a bit and soften the light. The
strong, contrasty light in many of the images is quite unflattering, I
