I've been wanting to write this for a while, finally found the time.

What an excellent job on the 2012 version!

Kudo's on the Foreword. Entertaining and thought-provoking.

Kudo's on the layout, and the blends. Very nicely done.

Kudos on the refrigerator shots.:)

Kudo's on the photographs.

Some favorites of mine, among many, are:

Cauldron - Brian Walters
Joisey Shore - Ken Waller
An August Afternoon - Bong Manayon
If Not Now, Then When? - Dario Bonazza
Stowe Grotto - Chris Mitchell
London Eye - Toine Kuiper
One-Eyed Jack - Larry Colen
6 - Miserere
A Chevy Goes Home - Paul Stenquist
Night at Sea - Dag Thrane (stretches Minimalism to just almost but not
quite the breaking point!)
At the Beach in Binz - Steffen Zahn
Spring Melt at Pinkham Notch - Mark Roberts
The Inspector - Doug Brewer
The Bridge to Runde - Jostein Oksne

The foreword made me think... "And maybe... some of the children will
start their own photographic journeys, begin to write their own
stories with light...".

So next year what about putting some cameras in the hands of the kids
this book is designed to benefit? Have a special section that shows
their images? Make them part of the endeavor?

I'm not sure what the best way to do that is. It could be donations of
some used Pentax point and shoots or ?

Again well done to all Mark, Doug, the edtitors, and all the
photographic contributors.

Tom C.
